Convenience is key here at Taste Inc. We are firm believers that everyone can make healthy eating options that are short on time and big on flavour. Not every meal needs a dozen ingredients and a preheated oven. Enter: The Rainbow Plate! The beauty with this is that it’s 100% customisable. Don’t like beetroot? Add some avocado instead! Got some leftover couscous in the fridge? Add it in!

The Taste Inc. Rainbow Plate

Ingredients

  • Little gem lettuce
  • Cooked beetroot
  • Carrots
  • Cucumber
  • Yellow peppers
  • Baby plum tomatoes
  • 1/2 Taste Inc. Original or Spicy Fillets
  • 1 Free range egg
  • 2/3 Seafood sticks
  • Reduced fat mayo/salad cream

Instructions

  1. Boil some water in a pot.
  2. Once the water's boiled, add your free range egg. You can cook your egg to your prefered softness/hardness. We'd say 7-8 minutes is spot on.
  3. Roughly tear up your lettuce leaves.
  4. Slice your carrots and peppers into strips.
  5. Dice your tomatoes, cucumber and beetroot into dippable chunks.
  6. Grab your Taste Inc. fillet(s) and your seafood sticks.
  7. Add your serving of sauce to a little pot or ramekin and you're ready to dip away to your heart's content!
